
Holcomb Elementary School brought the Amazon Rainforest to life with an inspiring, schoolwide STEAM and arts integration project!🌿 Each grade created a rainforest layer using recycled materials, UV-reactive art, and glowing UV lights. Students explored math concepts like symmetry and pattern and engineered standing murals and features. 🦋🌊🌳 We’re so proud of their creativity and collaboration! 💛

Holt Middle School Science Explorers experienced an Urban Water Tour today, visiting the Beaver Water District in Lowell and the West Side Wastewater Treatment Plant in Fayetteville!
This hands-on field experience taught them all about the science of water treatment, conservation, and sustainability — important lessons for protecting our planet’s future!

Fayetteville High School celebrated Black History Month in style! Students enjoyed a cookout, a powerful gallery walk featuring community members and student projects highlighting African American culture, and an exciting round of Black History Month Jeopardy in the Performing Arts Center.
The celebration wrapped up with a stroll performance by University of Arkansas fraternities and sororities!

Root Elementary wrapped up a fantastic Multicultural Week with their annual Multicultural Dinner. 🌍Families enjoyed musical performances from the third grade class, Rince Arkansas Academy of Irish Dance, and Papa Rap! 🎶 Plus, the 2nd Annual Root Art Show showcased the students' incredible creativity. 🎨
